& CAPTURING LOVE EVERYWHERE in between

In 2012, Sarah established AGP as a single mom of twins, Tessa and Olivia — the original Alderman Girl Posse, and where we get our AGP — as a self-taught photographer.

AGP’s third wedding of all time was shot on film + digital and published in international print, which was a big source of encouragement when it came to narrowing in on photographing weddings. After expanding AGP from a Philly brand to NYC to one that is nationally recognized, Sarah is now setting up shop in the greater San Fransisco Bay Area, ready to grow into the Napa Valley, Carmel, Monterey, and her own home turf, the Marin headlands.

Outside of the wedding industry, Sarah has produced and directed a social justice documentary called BYPASSED, served as the Dr Mian Jan Fellow for a South Asian Diaspora oral history project, and worked on The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation as a storytelling facilitator for National Geographic. Sarah splits her time between Sausalito, CA and Coatesville, PA.

Our team of associate photographers will continue to photograph weddings on the East Coast as Sarah shifts focus to destination and West Coast events.

Sarah and her team have been so fortunate to shoot weddings from Malibu to Maine, to have been hired by Super Bowl champions, Emmy Award-winning producers, Food Network stars, kickass female MDs, and other exceptional people with that good-good taste. We offer unparalleled commitment to a flawless and fun client experience, and produce exceptional, artful images that have been published internationally.

AGP's images have been featured by: Conde Nast BRIDES, The New York Times, New York Magazine’s The Cut, The Knot, Philadelphia Magazine Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Junebug Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, Rock N Roll Bride, Carats and Cake, The Huffington Post, Flaunt Magazine, and Martha Stewart Real Weddings

An ally who thinks that should be a given

My passion is not so much for weddings themselves, but for stories that reflect the human experience. My life goal has always been 'go everywhere and meet everyone' and I'm in awe of the many ways there are to experience a life. I consider myself a student of everyone I meet. We welcome marriers of all expressions and forms.

Integrity is important to us as a studio. Every image we share on our website is from a real AGP client that chose us as the hired photographer for their wedding. We do not present planned, controlled or editorial shoots with models as wedding day work, as the two disciplines require different skillsets and can be misleading to potential clients.
